ABOUT WIC WEEK

Women in Construction Week is an exciting annual celebration led by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), held during the first full week of March (March 1–7, 2026). This nationwide initiative shines a spotlight on the invaluable contributions, achievements, and growing presence of women in the construction industry.

At NAWIC Los Angeles, we proudly join chapters across the country in honoring the trailblazing women who build our communities—whether on job sites, in boardrooms, or through mentorship and advocacy. From community outreach and networking events to educational panels and volunteer activities, WIC Week highlights diversity, equity, and opportunity while inspiring the next generation of women leaders in construction.

Join us as we celebrate strength, skill, and solidarity—together, we’re shaping the future of the built environment! For details on local events, visit our events page or follow us on social media.
