Building Beyond Limits Together

Hello NAWIC Los Angeles Members,

As we begin this new chapter together, I am honored and excited to serve as your President for the 2026-2027 year. Thank you for the trust you have placed in me and for the opportunity to lead such an inspiring group of women and allies who are making a difference throughout our industry.

This year, our theme is Building Beyond Limits.

To me, this theme represents more than construction. It is about building careers, building confidence, building relationships, and building a future where there are no limits to what we can achieve together. It is about challenging ourselves to grow, embracing new opportunities, and supporting one another every step of the way.

When I joined NAWIC, I was looking to connect with other women in construction. What I found was so much more. I found mentors, lifelong friendships, leadership opportunities, and a community that encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and discover strengths I didn't know I had. NAWIC helped me build confidence, develop professionally, and become the leader I am today.

As I shared during my installation, my goals this year are centered on strengthening member engagement, growing our chapter, developing future leaders, expanding partnerships with industry organizations, and creating meaningful opportunities for professional and personal growth. I want every member to feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to get involved in a way that is meaningful to them.

One of the best ways to experience the value of NAWIC is by participating in our events. Whether it's a networking event, educational program, community service project, committee meeting, or Women in Construction Week activity, every event is an opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute to the success of our chapter. The relationships you build and the experiences you gain can have a lasting impact on your career and personal journey.

I encourage each of you to challenge yourself this year to take that next step. Attend a new event. Join a committee. Volunteer for a project. Invite a colleague to a meeting. Share your ideas and expertise. Your involvement is what makes our chapter stronger, and every member has something valuable to contribute.

Together, we will continue to create opportunities, support one another, and elevate the next generation of construction professionals. Together, we will strengthen our chapter's foundation while reaching for new possibilities.
